Question, Diana. This is fantastic, and thanks so much. This is exactly the leveling up I've needed, and I'll schedule an appointment to talk more about that. For now, if you could respond to this, that would be appreciated. I have operated for awhile with the idea that people, orgs, etc, can't refuse delivery on their own energy. Could you share any thoughts about t his? I also posted the question in your patreon bc substack wasn't letting me log in.

Hi Maery! That is such a complicated question, and a great one, too! From my experience working reversal magick and spells, yes and no. Experienced practitioners can and do come prepared to volley back, redirect, or ground what gets sent back to them. Less experienced practitioners tend to level up once they get smacked with their own energy a few times.

When you're dealing with institutions, it's a little harder because a)size b)volume c)some can and do quietly commission practitioners to handle this stuff for them.

In the current situation, a lot of these places are throwing energy they want to live under. The language of superiority and oppression doesn't phase them, they see it as positive. Getting their bad intent back isn't even noticed when it's so normalized. Many of these people developed these institutions to avoid accountability, and they did keep energy in mind, too.

Rather than just sending it back, I recommend opposites day reversals. These take the energy sent, hold it, and transmute it so that whatever the sender really doesn't want to happen is the result of the spell.
